21-01-2025 Pearl is a friendly lady that has come to us from a breeder in Ireland. Pearl is a confident girl who is on the border of being an only dog, in the right circumstances. Pearl will need someone who is able to spend a lot of time with her, or someone that has another resident dog as she does love her kennel friends! Pearl will need help and patiences while she learns toilet training, lead walking and also adjusting to house sounds that she may have never heard before such as the Tv and hoover. Pearl really is a sweet girl, wanting to be loved Pear has a PETS travel document.
27-01-2025 UPDATE
This ADORABLE little girl is not your typical ex-breeding dog and has obviously lived in a home before. As soon as I collected her she started licking my hand and was quick to nuzzle into my neck. All I could ask myself was how could anyone let such a gorgeous girl go? She is tiny at just 4 kilos, very gentle, playful, and exceptionally bright. The photos of her don’t do her justice at all. Very typically of an ex-breeding dog, her hair has been cut dramatically short for ease. Give her a couple of months and she will show us what her fur can really do! She loves soft toys that make a noise and has been rummaging through the dog-toy box to choose her favourites which she runs around the house with. She is fascinated by mirrors and has been pawing at them - looking at my reflection then quickly back at me. It’s magic! She’s not house-trained yet but is using puppy pads more and more. She also happily goes into the garden but in this rotten weather I don’t blame her for running back inside. Rarely do I get to foster such loving and gentle dogs, and I know she is going to be snapped up in no time at all. This is one I will truly miss. Only the very best doggy parents should apply. She deserves the absolute best.
You can sponsor Pearl and many other dogs by donating towards the Gift of Life. This donation gives a second chance at life for Pearl and their friends that Many Tears rescue from Ireland. Please Visit our Gift of Life page for more information and how you can help sponsor a dog.
Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
