23-01-25 Bud is the most handsome little boy who has come to us from a breeder as he was unsold. Bud has been assessed by our vet who noted that he has slightly dry eye and some scarring on his lenses and felt like he had very poor/limited vision. He is currently on eye lubricant which is likely to be ongoing and anything relating to his eyes would not be coverable by insurance, so this is something his adopters would need to be aware of and take into account. He may benefit from visiting a specialist in the future to see if anything can be done to help his vision, there may be nothing they could do for him, but it would be lovely if he found adopters who were willing to explore this and could fund any treatment for him if he was a candidate. Despite his poor vision, he gets around incredibly well and really doesn't let it slow him down at all and it's very easy to forget that his eyesight isn't perfect. Bud also has an umbilical hernia which will need to be fixed at the time of his neuter.
Bud is the sweetest little guy you will ever meet. He went straight into a foster home and has been the most perfect house guest. He loves to be fussed and cuddled and loves to fall asleep on your lap. He will happily trot around the house after you, just happy to be in your company. Although he loves company, he is also happy to play independantly and will happily go for a nap in his play pen if you need to pop out. He is currently living with two small adult dogs and is very respectful and polite with them and is also living with a cat who he loves to watch and will sit wagging his tail at, but he does also like to playfully chase after her! He could easily be homed with other kind animals who wouldn't mind a puppy running around with them, but he is confident enough to be homed as an only dog too. We would consider homing him with children who were old enough to be gentle with him and he would like adopters who were around most of the time and who had plenty of time to spend with him. Although he's just a puppy he is already taking well to house training and puppy pad training and is such a clever little boy! Bud is a very chilled out pup and sat still in the bath while he was washed and shampoo'd and even was very relaxed while having a little blow dry. He has the most wonderful, chilled temperament and is going to make the most incredible family member!
You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.
