07-11-2024 This pretty little girl is Lizzy and she has come to us from a breeder. She needs a dental which our vet will look at and some scabs that will be checked over too. Lovely Lizzy had hair growing into her eye which was very uncomfortable for her and so our vet has operated and removed this. She has also been receiving treatment for an ulcer in her eye. Lizzy is a very sweet girl who is in need of some TLC, she loves a fuss but is missing some confidence that she needs help building. Lizzy is an ex-breeding dog and because of this she will need another dog in the home to keep her company and to help teach her house manners. Lizzy will need help with toilet training, lead training and also adjusting to house sounds she may not of heard before such as the TV, hoover and air fryer. Lizzy will toddle over to you slowly but she is still unsure of kind hands, but with time we know she will shine bright. Lizzy will love home life, she is just waiting for someone to see how amazing she is inside and out.

17-12-24 UPDATE
Lizzy is coming on so well here, she's getting braver and actively choosing to be somewhere other than her bed now! She’s a such a gorgous lady with a personality that is just so scrumptious. She walks lovely on a harness and enjoys being out and about. Lizzy has sore eyes and needs eye lubricant many times throughout the day and pain relief, she is very easy to give this to, she enjoys her food and shares her kennel and bed nicely. All round, she is just a little superstar that is so easy to handle and love, but I think she would definitely flourish in a home a lot quicker.

21-12-24 UPDATE
Lizzy has had now had a further lower bilateral entropian repair on her eyes and is recovering well.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
