06-10-2024 - Esmay is a very nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is initially timid and shy around people, but once she is in your arms she loosens up and settles in. She would suit best in an experienced home with mature adults only, and would need another resident dog to help build her confidence and show her the ropes of her new environment as she does rely on her companions for assurance. She will need guidance and be taught on how to walk on a lead, house trainings and manners, as she has not had the chance to experience and learn. Esmay is needing someone to give her a chance and teach her what support and love is!

05-11-2024 UPDATE

Esmay is such a sweet little girl whose confidence is slowly growing everyday but she definitely needs her forever home now to help her progress that little bit faster! She has a waggy tail when she sees you but is still very unsure so will run to the back of the kennel and curiously see what you’re up to. You can tell that she wants to be your friend but is waiting for her confidence to catch up. Esmay is easy to handle, and is just the most gorgous girl ever, and I can tell that she’ll adapt to homelife and love all the creature comforts it has to offer! As Esmay is still exploring her confidence, she will still need a resident dog in her new home to help her with her new life. Esmay is a wonderful lady who once settled, will make a house a home

19-11-24 UPDATE
Esmay is starting to relax now she is in a home. She walks really well on a lead and enjoys being out and about with a confident dog to follow, as long as the area is quiet. Her housetraining has advanced very well, she only has an occasional accident now. She has a lovely gentle character and likes to have a few outings a day and then a long sleep in her safe space (a comfy bed in the kitchen). She is still learning to trust people but she accepts strokes from me now and will let me sit with her. She loves her food!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
