If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

06-07-24 Cooper is a lovely boy who has come from his breeder to find a loving home. He has an undershot jaw that he manages well with. He is trying his best to be brave and will come forwards to check us out and but does back off as he isnt very confident yet. He is very easy to handle and will shower us with tiny kisses once he realises we can be friends. Cooper could be homed as an only dog or in the right circumstances could live with a larger female dog. Cooper doesnt know how to walk on a lead yet and has never lived indoors so will need to learn home skills such as house training and where the best places are to have a snooze. It will take him time to adjust so he will need your patience and kindness to gelp him settle. In time he will love his new way of life and we think he is going to lap up all your time and attention.Cooper does appear to have allergies which are being treated and monitored by our vets. He has a PETS passport travel doc.

17-07-24 UPDATE
Cooper has been neutered and at the same time had a nasal wedge resection along with BOAS surgery to help widen his airways.

09-08-24 UPDATE

Well I didn’t see Cooper arrive at the rescue but he was moved to my section around a month ago and after reading his first update above I can safely say he’s definitely come out of his shell and a shy boy no more! He has grown to be a cheeky and confident boy. Cooper hasn’t had the easiest of starts to his journey coming from a breeder, he was unwell and quarantined and has undergone nasal and BOAS surgery all in short time which makes him the bravest boy too! Nothing has kept Cooper down, he’s gained a healthy amount of weight, gained confidence and is now a fun loving chonky boy! Cooper could be homed with a larger female dog or he could definitely be an only dog for someone who has all the time for him. I would love for Cooper to find his forever home so that he can put his rough start behind him and experience a happy life filled with unconditional love in which I don’t doubt Cooper wont double in return! Let’s show him happy endings exist.

23-08-24 UPDATE

Cooper is an adorable boy who absolutely loves humans and just wants to be your best friend. Cooper comes to you when he’s called, though I’m not sure if it’s because he’s actually learnt his name or just gets so excited to hear someone coming to spend some time with him. He’s an easy going doggie and even though he’s a flat faced breed, could go to a relatively active home either with children or without and beyond that, could easily be an only dog as well. Cooper could potentially go with other dogs, but he has been fussy with who he’s been kennelled with, so a meet a greet with your dog will tell us if he’s compatible and he would be best suited to a large female dog. Cooper is incredible and volunteers love to spend time with this funny boy and as much as he loves it, being in a home would make his dreams come true

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
