20-02-25 Zinty has come to us from a breeder ready to find her forever home. She is a very worried girl at the moment, who is overwhelmed to find herself here and will hide in the back of her kennel. Despite her fears, she is a very sweet girl and will easily let you pick her up and carry her, she is just very worried about us at the moment. She will need a calm and quiet, adult home where she can receive lots of love and kindness as she starts to settle in and trust and learn that human hands can be kind. She relies on other dogs for comfort and so will be looking for a home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and companion. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and adjust to home life and learns new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness and will be quite worried about this at first too, so will need to practice around the home and garden until she has built up enough confidence to venture outside. Zinty is a really sweet girl and with time, love and patience she will start to blossom into the girl she should have always had the chance to be. Zinty possibly has an entropian in her right eye, but our vets will be taking a look at this. Zinty has a travel document.

Zinty has come to us from a breeder in Ireland. Their trip was sponsored by an anonymous and very generous donation to the Gift of Life fundraiser. The donation has not only sponsored Zinty but also all of the other dogs on the van! We are so humbled by this generous donation and so very thankful. If you would like to donate to other dogs like Zinty please take a look at our Gift of Life page.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
