28-01-25 Jett is a lovely collie who has come to us from a farm as her owners did not have time for her.  She arrived here with Fly and Pip and will need a home where there is at least one other confident dog.  Jett was kept in a shed so hasn't lived in a home and will need to learn about house training and lead walking.  As a collie Jett is an active girl with a smart brain so we are looking for a home where she will get to exercise both her brain and body.  She is a little skittish and unsure at the moment and her eyes are full of confusion but despite her worries Jett is easy to handle and we don't think it will take her too long to come round especially with a canine friend to guide her.  Jett small and slightly on the slender side but once in a home we think she is going to be a really lovely addition to a home.

Jett is a sweet girl that has a generally shy disposition. She likes attention when you know her and will gently ask for a fuss too but will only come up when other dogs are around. Jett will need another dog in the home to help her grown in confidence as at the moment she will come up to people she doesn’t know, sniff them and run away. She has be learning to lead walk and is currently walking very well on a harness with other dogs around. With this in mind, I would say older children in the home would be ok as long as they give her to build trust in her new family. She is currently kennelled with male and female dogs and gets on well with all, and she’ll even eat near the others which makes life a lot easier in the home.
