Meet Mowgli! One of the most handsome and lovable little fellas around! Mowgli has come to us from a breeder as he has a skin condition called puppy strangles that mainly affects the face and causes swelling and sores. This is non-contagious and with treatment he will make a full recovery although may be left with some small areas of missing fur or slight scarring. Mowli is a super pup! He absolutely LOVES a cuddle and can usually be found in someones arms, snuggling in close! Although he's at the rescue, he has been going home with members of staff in the evening and has very much decided that he would like to sleep in bed with his human, so he is hoping to find adopters who will let him sleep in bed with them. He has been great with all dogs he has met and so could live with other kind dogs as long as they didn't mind having a puppy running around after them. He has also met cats well and could be homed with cats. He is confident enough to be homed as an only dog as long as his adopters were around most of the time and had lots of time to spend with him and will help him grow into a well rounded adult dog. He loves to play with toys and like all puppies can do a bit of chewing but it's easily swapped out for a toy. He is a super clever little man and is already starting to use puppy pads and is evening doing quite a few wee wee's outside! He is such a wonderful boy and whoever adopts him is going to have a best friend for life!

I have been fostering Mowgli and he is a delight. He’s settled very well, a very loving affectionate dog that needs lots of cuddles. He’s fine with children and other dogs and very excited about seeing my two cats. He is currently on steroids for his skin condition, but that is healing well, and only has a few days left. He is a beautiful boy.

21-02-25 UPDATE
I’ve been fostering Mowgli for 2 weeks and he is a lovely energetic, playful puppy. He is child friendly and fine with our cat and resident dog. He is nearly toilet trained with just a few accidents and has been walking lovely on his harness in our garden. I think he will make a lovely family dog.  

You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.
