23-01-2025 This is angel and she is the bravest girl! Angel was handed into us when she was found by police wondering around the area, We named her Angel because she is just that, a little angel. This little girl has been through the wars, it is possible and we believe that she was being used as a bait dog, with multiple wounds, scars and severe malnutrition it is very consistent with other bait dog cases. Angel has come to us with an ulcer in the right eye which is being treated by the vets. She also has matted fur and poor skin and a large ulcerated area on the side of her face, which can be assumed was from a bite. Angel is being continously treaeted by our vets to ensure her health, but this does not stop her from being so doting and lovely. Whatever terrible fate Angel has gone through this doesn't ruin her spirit, she is a very happy girl, the moment she see's you her tail wags and she spins in circles waiting for you to open the door. Angel is a cuddly girl and loves fuss and will happily plop herself beside you and spend all day there. As we are not sure where Angel has come from she will need some help with household skills such as toilet training and possibly adjusting to house sounds like the TV and hoover, as we do not know if she has ever lived in a house. Currently Angel is under assessment to see if she needs to be an only dog, however at the moment she doesn't seem too fazed when she walks passed her doggy neighbours. Angel is looking for her forever to live out her golden years, happy and loved

Due to Angels condition she is not ready for adoption yet, we are ensuring she gets the care she needs first, ready for all the love and affection she is going to get in her new home.

Angels story: Forgotten to Forgiven

One freezing, windy night, the police spotted a tiny figure in the darkness. She didn’t run—she couldn’t. Starving, exhausted, and injured, she had nothing left to give. Without hesitation, they scooped her up, uniforms be damned, and rushed her to safety.

When we bathed her, the truth of her suffering revealed itself. Skin fell away, deep wounds surfaced, and as the water turned a murky brown, thousands of fleas—once thriving on her misery—washed away, their host finally too cold and broken to sustain them.

Angel had every reason to hate humans. She had likely been used and discarded, forced into horrors like being a bait dog. But despite everything, this little soul chose to forgive. Weeks later, with warmth, care, and endless love, Angel has not only healed—she thrives. She loves people, greeting them with a heart full of trust we don’t deserve.

Yet, Angel remains invisible. Passed over for fluffier, cuter dogs, she waits, still an orphan in a world that too often overlooks the broken ones. What she needs isn’t pity—it’s a fresh start. A home where she is the dog, no competition, just patience, kindness, and the love she has always deserved.

She has fought her way back to life. Now she just needs someone to show her it was worth it.
