If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

17-01-25 Captain Hook is an extra special boy who was born here at the rescue after his mum, Cinnamon, was rescued from a hoarding situation already pregnant. He will be looking for a very special home as he was born missing his front right leg and just has a small stump. Despite this, little Captain Hook is learning to cope incredibly well with his 3 legs and gets around well and doesn't let it hold him back. His adopters would need to be aware that while he gets around wonderfully now, this would need to be monitored as he grows and it's possible he may start to struggle in the future and should he require any treatment in relation to his missing limb, that wouldn't be coverable by insurance. That said, many dogs are born with 3 legs and go on to live full and happy lives with no issues whatsoever.
Captain Hook and his siblings are all absolutely adorable! They are happy and confident puppies who have been handled regularly and well socialised since birth. They are so much fun to spend time with and are going to grow into the most wonderful dogs! They love to play, love fuss and just love to be loved. They will be looking for adopters who have plenty of time to spend with them and who will help them grow into well rounded adult dogs. They could be homed as only dogs but they could also live with other kind dogs who wouldn't mind having a cheeky puppy chasing after them. We would consider homing them with children who were old enough to be gentle with them. They have been such a lovely litter to look after and whoever adopts them will adore them! They will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old.

You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.
