09-01-2025 Ripply is a sweet girl that is very worried and confused about where she finds herself. She has come to us from a breeder in Ireland and she is very nervous around people, but the sweet angel doesn't have a bad bone in her body. Ripply is easy to handle, she just freezes in your arms and will accept a small fuss before she gets overwhelmed. Ripply will need a kind resident dog to help her settle into her new home life and to help her with house skills. House skills such as toilet training and lead walking are something Ripply's new pawrents will need to help her with, as well as house noises such as the TV and hoover as she may have never heard these before. Ripply will need a child free and quiet home environment to be able to quietly settle into her surroundings in her own time. She has had 3 teeth extracted at the time of her spay. We are told that she is a cavalier cross pug but we don't see much pug in her.

20-01-25 UPDATE
Ripply has been in a foster home for a week now. In that time she has experienced many of the normal household sounds and activities. She continues to be nervous of people and doesn’t know what our intentions are but is really trying to be brave. She’s now taking treats and letting us stroke her gently. We are carrying her out into the garden, which she does accept and toilets outside with no accidents in the house at all. Ripply is living with big and small, male and female dogs and needs a friendly resident dog in her forever home, preferably another cavalier.
She is eating well and sleeps in our bedroom overnight. Ripply has worn a harness and jumper but doesn’t want to walk yet - so we have carried her on one dog walk so far. It really is a big change for Ripply but she is starting to enjoy some home comforts. She really will be a cav lovers dream and someone is going to be very lucky.

Ripply's transport is sponsored by Kate McMahon through their donation for the gift of life. This donation has meant we were able to rescue Ripply and bring her to us to find her forever family and to be loved the way she was meant to. Thank you Kate!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
