06-01-25 Shelby has come to us from a breeder ready to find his forever home. We are told that he was purchased as a puppy, but his owners had never had a dog before and found him a bit busy, so returned him to his breeder. Shelby is a wonderful boy, who has trotted into the rescue with the smiliest face around! He is quite confident and will be looking for an active home with adopters who will keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. We are told that he has lived in a home, so he may be house trained but he may need some reminders of this as well as some extra practice with lead walking. He lived as an only dog in his previous home, so we would consider homing him as an only dog as long as his adopters were around most of the time, but he could also live with other kind dogs. Shelby is an amazing dog and in the right home he is going to truly thrive, so please don't leave him waiting too long!
