DUKE WOULD LIKE TO BE HOMED WITH FLYNN
06-01-25 Duke has come to us with his friend Flynn from a home through no fault of their own after their elderly owner was very sadly taken into hospital. They are the most handsome, dinky little boys and we would love for them to be homed together. Duke is quite worried and overwhelmed to find himself here, which is understandable, but with time, love and kindness we don't think it will take it long to come out of his shell. We think Duke is going to love being someones special boy and will turn into a little lap dog. Duke may be housetrained, but we couldn't guarantee it and he may need to learn all about this in his new home. He and Flynn are such wonderful boys, it's breaking our hearts to see them in kennels and we would really like for them to be curled back up on a sofa as soon as possible. They have had so much change over the past few weeks, we can't even imagine how worried they are feeling right now and just feel so sad for them. We are very hopeful that their perfect retirement home will find them as soon as possible!
We are told that Duke has had some seizures in the past, but we have no previous medical history for him. He has had 19 teeth extracted with us, which he is recovering well from and so will benefit from a soft food diet going forwards.
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
