29-12-24 Rosie is a gorgeous girl who has come to us from a very loving home through no fault of her own as her previous owner unfortunately had a stroke and was unable to excersise her as much she requires. Rosie would need another kind resident dog to be her friend in her new home. Rosie is a lively and active girl who will be looking for an active home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her. We beleive that Rosie would suit best in an ADULT ONLY homes, as she can be ab it weary and will need a calm and understanding environment as she settles in. She is a little overwhelmed to find herself here, but we don't think it will take her long to settle in. We believe she is house trained but she may need some reminders in her new home. Rosie is a very gentle and sweet girl who listens well and is ready to learn. She is a little overweight at the moment but with a good diet and exercise, she should shed this in no time. We would consider homing her with teenagers and upwards due to how bouncy and playful she can be.

15-01-25 UPDATE
Rosie is really starting to come of her wary little shell. She was initially wary of people she didn't know, but I think her being here, meeting different staff members, has made her braver. She's now more confident meeting strangers. She is a confident girl, once she's spent a short time with you. Rosie met two male and one female members of staff today she hadn't met before and ended up taking treats from them. Rosie still is a bouncy energetic girl, who exuberantly pulls strongly on a lead. So, in last two days I've been walking her on a halti, she's accepted this quite well and now will walk without pulling, she just needs a little more practice to really get used to it. Rosie also met our cats today, they didn't impress her, she took no interest, so could go to a home with dog savvy cats. Rosie is always happy, she's not demanding of your attention, but does get overexcited when she does get it, so will need a little training not to jump up. Rosie will best be suited to having a large male resident dog to live with. Rosie doesn't bark much, she knows sit but not much else, apart from giving you love and infecting you with happiness, what a darling.
