22-12-24 Seeker has come from a home situation where his owner was made homeless and made the devastating decision to rehome her dogs. Seeker and his friends have been very well loved and cherished and we have made a promise to their owner that we will do our very best by them, just like she did. Seeker could be homed as an only dog as long as his adopter had plenty of time for him.
Seeker is described as the ultimate mummys boy. He is full of love and likes to be heard! He will bring you toys and treats and will do a happy dance as he shoves things on your lap to play with him. He loves a cuddle and has chosen to sleep with his previous owner on her bed since the day she got him. We are told that he loves to sleep on top of his human and do lots of zoomies round the garden. Seeker has good recall and enjoys travelling in the car although he can be a little vocal with it and may need to stop to go to the loo as he gets a bit overexcited! He can be reserved when meeting new dogs and can be shy but once he knows them, he loves them. He could live with older children but is bouncy so may accidentally knock older or people less steady on their feet. Seeker really needs a fresh start with someone who will adore him and give him the comfort and security he needs. Seeker will be looking for an active home where he can be kept both physically and mentally stimulated.
19-01-25 UPDATE
Seeker has been living in foster with me for a week now and despite being shy and unsure when he first arrived, he is now showing us just how loving and willing to please he is. He can be nervous meeting new dogs and needs some time adjusting to them, but once he does, he will be their best friend! Seeker is house trained and hasn’t shown any marking in the house. He is eager to explore the outside world and can be strong on the lead but we are working on his manners and he is improving. Seeker doesn’t quite know how big he is so he wouldn’t suit being around younger children. He loves attention but is happy to be out of sight of people if he has a doggy friend with him. Seeker can jump high and has done some counter surfing so he will need a supervision around food on kitchen surfaces. He is a real inquisitive love bug who really makes us laugh and anyone would be lucky to have him around!
