18-12-24 Basil is a gorgeous little lad that has come to us from a home with a few other dogs, after his owner had a huge change in circumstances. Basil was very well loved and is looking to find that same type of love again in his new home. According to Basil's previous owner, he absolutely loves a ball and his toys and will play fetch for hours if you let him. So much so, that his previous owner had to limit fetching to an outdoor activity only as he would never quit if you didnt make him! Therefore, Basil is looking for an active home that will take him on walks, adventures and play fetch with him as much as his little heart desires! We are told he walks very nicely on a lead and is house trained, but may need his new family to be understanding as he refreshes his memory in a new environment. Basil's previous mum has also shared with us that he loves to lick - lick your face, your legs, your cheeks, your arms. He loves it! We think its because he is just so affectionate and cant find another way to express himself. Basil has lived with a few other dogs for most of his life, but seems that he would be best as an only dog. He doesnt mind being with other dogs, in the right circumstance but he loves his space and doesnt like being fussed over by other dogs. Basil would love to be the star of the show and sit right in your lap for a cuddle. Basil really is a cracking little lad and would make a great comanion for an active and loving home!
