If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-11-2024 Victory has come to us from a breeder and is very confused, unsure and overwhelmed to suddenly find himself in new surroundings and is a little skittish and will run when approached.  Victory deserves the best life possible with patient and understanding adopters who will be his world.  He will definitely need at least one other dog for comfort and support and he really relies heavily on his kennel friends.  Once he has settled into his new home and feels a little braver he will start to watch his new friend(s) and copy what they do which will really help him with house training. Victory needs adopters who have all the patience and love in the world to help him discover that his new life will be wonderful.  Lead walking will need to start in the garden to make sure he is comfortable wearing a harness and lead before venturing out into quiet walking areas.  Victory has a PETS travel document.

17-12-24 UPDATE

Since Victory’s arrival a couple of weeks ago, he has well and truly found his feet and blossomed into the most comical and fun little man. He is still timid of human touch, but he’s already gotten so much better and I really don’t think it will take too much longer for him to realise we aren’t going to hurt him. He loves to give me kisses all over my hands and face and will accept a gentle fuss in the back of the kennel, but he won’t actively approach me for one just yet.
Victory’s favourite thing at the rescue is playing with toys, playing in the yard, and playing with his kennel friends too. Now that he has more confidence, he’s acting like a 7 month old puppy should, and it’s just amazing to see. Having a playful resident dog in his new home would be his dream come true .. along with a box full of different toys for him to investigate!!
Please don’t keep this handsome boy waiting for too much longer. No dog deserves to grow up in kennels .. especially not at Christmas!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
