04-11-24 Copy has come to us from a home through no fault of his own due to a case of hoarding and neglect. You can see in his eyes just how sad and worried he is at the moment, but now he is at Many Tears and he will start to learn all about kind hands and how nice that humans can be. Copy has arrived with very sore skin which is being treated and hopefully before too long he will start to feel much better. He is a little heartbreaker at the moment but with love, kindness and TLC he will start to come out of his shell. At the moment he will accept fuss easily but isn't at all keen on this. He will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with him and will be looking for a home where there is another kind and confident resident dog to be his friend and help him to settle in. Even though he has lived in a home before we think he will need to learn all about house training as well as how to walk on a lead. Copy has had such a sad start to life, but now a much better future is ahead of him.

05-12-2024 UPDATE

Copy has been with us a few weeks now and is progressing well. He can be quite cheeky at times and it’s lovely to see his personality come out. He can still be quite nervous of new people and sudden movements but when he knows you and if you approach him slowly he will allow you to fuss him. He will even sometimes now approach you for a sniff and a chin scratch. Copy will need a calm environment to move into where he can flourish and become the best version of himself. He’s only ever know living with other dogs so another kind resident would be best suited for him and to guide him into house training etc… We are currently gaining Copy’s trust and when he’s more confident he will start harness training with us. Step by step he will get there and will becomes the sweetest little man. Hopefully he won’t be here much longer.
