04-11-2024 This little girl is Clemintine, she is a sweet angel that has come to us from a home where many dogs were being hoarded and neglected in a small space. Clemintine is a shy girl and doesn't tend to approach for a fuss unless her kennel mates are around her for support, otherwise she runs to the back of her kennel. Clemintine is showing us signs that she wants to be loved and is just unsure about human kindness but with time we know she is going to shine so bright. Clemintine will need a home with another resident dog as she has always been around other dogs and another dog will help her settle into her new forever home and also give her a helping paw with training. Clemintine will need to be taught house manners such as toilet training and how to walk on a lead. Clemintine will need adopters that are able to give her unlimited time and patience to help her settle in and come out of her shell, she already shows us how much she wants to be loved so we know she won't take long to understand human kindness. Clemintine will need a home with no visiting children as she will need somewhere calm and quiet to settle and become the beloved family member she is meant to be.

20-11-2024 UPDATE
Clementine is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved and have a home to call her own. Since clementine has been here with us at kennels she has had such an improvement and has been become a lot more confident and will approach you when you enter her kennel! Initially, she would take a backseat, but as she came from a very overpopulated home, I reckon she just never had the opportunity to shine. Clementine as at the point where she could potentially be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances, but as she’s always been surrounded by other dogs, we still feel like she would prefer another companion to help her with her new transition. Clementine would best suit a home with no children or visiting children as I believe this will be to much for her and as she’s already been in such a busy environment for so long, it will be nice for her to get to explore her confidence and a new side of life in a calmer setting. Please give this sweet girl a chance as you won’t be disappointed! She is such a character and will definitely bring lots of smiles. She really deserves the best home ever!

15-12-24 UPDATE

I met Clemintine for the first time today and I could tell that out of the fifty dogs she was rescued with, she is one of the more timid and overwhelmed souls. She was so nervous of me and would just bark when I entered the kennel, but once I sat down and spent a little time with her, she started to relax a little and come up to sniff me before backing away a little. Although, she is improving with the kennel staff that work with her, she is still very wary of strangers and won’t come to you.
Her consistent carers are seeing her blossom, and tell me that she adores her outdoor play time. With this in mind, she is definitely going to need another dog in her new home and will need time to trust her new owners, so you will need to be patient and wait for her to come to you. I would say a quieter home would help but she is quite playful and active with her kennel friends, so maybe a home with grown up children that understand that she may need some space to begin with.
