04-11-24 Carling has come to us from a home through no fault of his own due to a case of hoarding and neglect. Carling has had a very sad start to life but he is now safe at Many Tears and is finally getting to experience love and kindness. He has arrived with very sore skin and imange and is currently being treated for this. Carling is very worried at the moment and will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who will take things slowly at his pace. He will need another kind dog in his new home to be his friend and we think he would prefer this dog to be a larger female. Although he has lived in a home before, we don't believe he is house trained and so he will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. Carling has had such a sad life, full of worry and mistreatment and now it's time for his new life to begin and we are so hopeful his forever home will find him as soon as possible.
26-11-2024 UPDATE
Carling has been in foster for a week and will now come into the lounge to sit on sofa of his own accord. Clean in the house. No problem with resident dogs. Lead walking is a challenge but time and patience is all that's needed. He really is a lovely little man
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
