Status: ReservedID: 42398 Name: Lacey Breed: Cross Breed Age: 7 Years Gender: Female Adoption Fee: See below | |
Location: At Many Tears in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire |
03-11-24 Lacey has come to us from a home through no fault of her own due to a case of hoarding and neglect. She is very overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment and will need lots of love and kindness as she settles in to her new life. She could potentially be homed as an only dog, in the right circumstance. Although she has lived in a home before, we are unsure if she is house trained and so she may need to learn this as well as how to walk on a lead. Lacey is a sweet girl and with lots of love and kindness she will start to grow in confidence and will blossom into the most wonderful friend, so please don't leave her waiting too long.
05-12-24 UPDATE
Lacey has been returned to us because she did not enjoy sharing her space with another small dog. She would be much happier as an only dog or she could be rehomed with a large dog, so if you have space in your life for this little lady then please do complete her adoption form.
Lacey loves people and she loves to be the centre of attention. She will nudge you if you arent concentrating on her but settles well if she is near you. She is the sort of dog who will want to be near you at night and sleep in your room too. She is a darling
16-12-24 UPDATE
Lacey was recently moved to the section I work on and she’s already pulled on my heartstrings. At first I thought she was pretty timid as she adjusted to my daily routine but then I saw her come to life on walks and especially down the big play yard. She’s full of life! Bright eyed, smiley face and waggy tails all around. So as you can imagine it’s difficult to see that spark dim each time I put her back to her kennel where she mostly retreats to the back and lays in bed. Lacey hasn’t had the best start to life sharing a small space with over 50 dogs fighting for attention so she truly loves human interaction and she absolutely deserves all the love and attention in the world! I read above that she was returned for not wanting to share her home with a smaller dog however with her current kennel mates I would say she’s most submissive so maybe she just pushed her luck with something that was smaller. I imagine a resident dog not afraid to give a correction or a larger dog would be perfect company for her although she could go as an only to someone who could give her all the time and dedication she deserves.
