29-10-2024 Knox has travelled a long way to be with us here at Many Tears, he has come to us from a breeder and he is very confused and anxious about where he finds herself. Knox is an extremely nervous boy who doesn't approach us and is very worried about being touched and handled. He will need an adult only and very experienced home who have had scared dogs/rescue dogs and understand how to work with knox to overcome his fears.
Knox has never been in a home so this is going to be completely overwhelming at first and he will need adopters with endless time and patience to help him learn about house training, lead training and toilet training. Knox will need another resident dog in the house as he relies on her kennel mates heavily for confidence and support, another dog will help him settle better in his new home. Knox needs a calm quiet home with space for him to sit quietly, with no visiting children. Knox is a sweetheart that just needs time and a chance to show his new pawrents how loving she can be. Knox has had some teeth removed during his health check but this isn't stopping him from being a sweet boy. Knox comes with a PETS travel document

26-11-24 UPDATE

Knox, or Donald as he is known here is a dear, quiet an undemanding little soul, he is a very shy chap, he is very worried around men, but is totally different around Debbie. He retires to his bed in the kitchen by default, but joins us through the day, he is trying really hard to be brave, but is still unsure. When I am not looking at him, he will climb onto the Sofa with Deb and settles quickly, he will even sleep with her. He needs a family that will give him time and space to unwind, he gets along with all of my dogs and is the sort of little one you REALLY want to unwind as he has had a difficult life and so deserves a loving home, if he gets one, he will be a wonderful addition to that home.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
