29-10-2024 This shy little girl is Listen and she is struggling to adjust to her new kennel life. Listen has come to us from a breeder and she is very reserved at the moment. Listen will let you gently fuss her but it takes a lot of time and waiting till she is ready. Listen will need a home with a kind resident dog to help her settle and to keep her company on her journey to become a beloved family member. Another dog will also help her learn house manners such as toilet training, lead training and learning new sounds of the house, such as the TV and Hoover (she may not have heard these before). Listen will also need a quiet home with lots of love and patience to help her settle in, she would also benefit from experienced dog owners with a good understanding of rescue nature. Listen is a very sweet girl that is just waiting for the chance to show her real beautiful personality. Listen also has a Grade 1 heart murmur that will need to be monitored in her new home but needs no action now. . Listen comes with PETS travel documents.
14-11-24 UPDATE
Listen is one very beautiful girl, both on the outside and the inside. With a face that could melt anyones heart, she is such a sweetie in every way and although lacks confidence at the moment, is a star waiting to shine. She is quite a big girl size wise, and as you can see in the photo, she is very good with her kennel friends. Listen has lovely characters: she eats alongside the other dogs with no arguments, enjoys her time in the yard and is just easy-going. She's a bit shy, but can be picked up and handled, and her kennel mum reckons she'll progress well once settled in a home. What a great girl for me to meet today, watching her interacting well with both males and females in her kennel. I'm sure someone is going to see her photos and immediately fall in love with her

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
ADOPTION DETAILS
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
