If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

04-10-24 Billy Bulldog is a handsome chap who has come from his breeder to find a loving home. He has come to us with a cherry eye that our vet has now fixed, and patchy fur that will hopefully be fixed with a good diet. This fella is SO much fun! He is absolutely larger than life and so full of character. He has bags of energy and can be a bit of a bull in a china shop! Billy is a bit much to be rehomed with kids and people who may not be steady on their feet. He is confident enough to be the only dog in his new home but will need to learn all about house training and other such home skills. He is a beginner on a lead and needs a bit more practice and encouragement. Billy is hilarious and will make you smile every day.

17-10-24 UPDATE

The first thing you notice about Billy when you first meet him is how friendly he is. He just loves people and when he sees you he lights up! He immediately runs up to you and jumps up wanting attention and is an instant best friend to anyone that will let him. Because he is so friendly, Billy could be homed as an only dog but he definitely needs enough attention to keep him satisfied. He is kennelled with other dogs, so could also go with a resident dog too. In all, he’s just an all-round superstar. Young children are not recommended for Billy as he is very strong and could easily knock them over. He doesn’t really understand he’s not a lap dog, and the last thing he’d want is to accidently hurt someone, not through malice but through playfulness. Billy does walk with a harness, but again is more interested in having attention off the person walking him rather than walking. He is lots of fun and anyone adopting him can be assured that there would never be a dull moment when he is around.

10-11-24 UPDATE

Billy is a fun, bouncy boy with a lot of love to give! He's very friendly and will jump up enthusiastically to say hello. He adores having a fuss and getting all your attention for a cuddle. He also gets on well with his kennel-mate. He is learning to walk on a harness so a patient home who can show him the ropes would be perfect for him. He is best in an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy children as he is a bulky boy. Billy would like an owner who can give him all their love as he will give it back, and some!

09-12-2024 UPDATE

Today we were fortunate enough to get a dry day and that meant that Bouncy Billy will enjoy his yard time a little more than the previous few days! Billy is doing amazing with his walking on lead and is making clear progress day by day. He is such a charming boy and seeing his excitement as you break him out of his kennel for a little while can’t help but bring the biggest smile to your face. There is so much you could do and say about this handsome boy. He has such a massive personality and presence, he really is responsible for most of my smiles throughout the day. He has a goofy, fun-loving personality and can switch from full play to duvet day like it’s nothing! If you are looking for a companion with the ability to make you laugh and love life with every breath then look no further because this boy will be that spark you’ve been missing!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
