03/10/2024 Amour is a very young girl that has come to us from a breeder and has not had the chance to experience the world and love just yet. She is a terribly worried girl and is having a hard time settling into her now surroundings. Currently, she relies on her kennel friends to bundle up and cuddle with for warmth and security. Her past experiences have left her with little trust in people. She is unsure of how to react to human interaction and has gone to nip once. She would best suit a home with an experienced owner, and without young children. Amour is a nervous little girl that is seeking a home to teach her house trainings as she has not had the experience to learn yet, comfort and love. She has had an umbilical hernia repair with our vet.

Amour is a very sweet girl, but is still very scared of humans. Amour will approach you at arms length but the second she senses you move she will back away and can give a little grumble. Amour is currently kennelled with 3 other dogs and she relies on them so much, she will follow them around the yard, eat with them and cuddle up with them in the back of her kennel. So she would definitely need another kind dog in her new home to show her what home life is all about and help her gain some more confidence! Amour is trying her best to become more confident and brave but she is just so unsure on the world at the moment. With love kindness and patience in a home I’m sure Amour with flourish into the best companion ever!

Amour is a very sweet lady but she is still quite nervous. I have been told by her kennel mum that she is improving and getting more confident everyday which is amazing. She was nervous of me because she doesn't really know me but I got lower to the floor and put my hand out and she came over and sniffed and licked my hand to say hello with some of her kennel friends. Amour will definitely need to be rehomed with another dog as she isn't quite confident enough to be an only dog currently. Your resident dog will help her massively because she will follow and copy what they do, whether it's harness or lead training or going to the toilet they'll help her grow in confidence a lot. Please don't overlook this little angel just because she is a nervous girl, with some patience and love she will come out of her shell and in no time become your best friend.

Amour is the prettiest lady around and although very sweet, she is still quite nervous and has found kennel life difficult to navigate. I have been told by her kennel mum that she is improving and getting more confident everyday which is amazing, but for such a young girl, it’s hard to become totally confident when you don’t have a family to guide you. She was nervous of me because she doesn't really know me, which is completely understandable, so I got lower to the floor and put my hand out. Within a minute she came over and sniffed me, then licked my hand to say hello with some of her kennel friends. You can see her curiousuty peek through in these moments. A resident dog will help her massively as she will follow and copy what they do, whether it's harness or lead training or going to the toilet they'll help her grow in confidence a lot. Please don't overlook this little angel just because she is a nervous girl, with some patience and love she will come out of her shell and in no time become your best friend.

Unfortunately a few weeks ago Amour injured her tail. She has been receiving regular vet visits and check ups, but sadly it has not healed well and so our vets made the difficult decision to amputate the majority of her tail. She is recovering well and is still just as beautiful as ever!
Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
