26-09-24 - Harvey is a really sweet boy who has come to us from his breeder to find his forever home. He has an undershot jaw that he manages well with but will need to be monitored as his adult teeth grow in. He hasnt seen much of the world before so is feeling unsure at the moment. Once he is in your arms he does settle and will begin to relax, he just has no idea at all about love yet. This little chap will need some practice being fussed and as he is so young we hope it wont be too long until he is enjoying it and discovering his puppy side! He will need regular brushing and visits to the groomer. He will need a kind resident dog to lend him some confidence and show him home skills such as house training and how to walk on a lead. He will truly shine if he is given the time and patience he needs to begin to bloom.

26-10-24 UPDATE

Harvey has been in foster 3 weeks and this little fella has made amazing progress in such a short time. Firstly he has learnt to love affection and give it back with the cutest puppy kisses. Also he’s a clever boy, quick to learn how to be clean in the home and getting very good at it… 8.5 out of 10 so far !
He’s a wonderful cheeky, funny little pup, you can’t help having a smile on your face when Harvey’s about. His confidence outside is great and non reactive. He loves his walks, strutting along fascinated with all the sights and enjoys playing zoomies in fields.
He also LOVES balls and will fetch them every time! He still has some experiences to get under his paws like buses and bikes but with a little help from a confident doggie beside him I’m sure he’ll flourish.
He sleeps peacefully all night on the end of the bed.
Harvey did show a few signs of anxiety with some visitors last week, (big coat we think) so he is being reassured with some lead training at home which is working really well this week as his worries are not escalating and he stays calm. This can be continued just until he learns he can trust visitors and realises they are all safe and kind and until he is reassured that he is safe he could make the wrong decisions if pushed.
Harvey would need an adult only home that is calm and settled. He would love at least one kind and playful doggie to guide him. Harvey adores both male and female dogs and loves to cuddle up with them after a good fun run around. This little boy is an absolute delight to be around.
Be warned he will steal your heart !

You will be asked to sign a contract confirming you will spay/neuter a puppy and we ask that a puppy attends puppy classes so they can socialise with other dogs and people.
