If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

11-09-24 Isabell is a sweet girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She has had a lump removed from her mammary area and will be having her eyes checked by the vet. She is a darling dog who will come right up to you and ask for a gentle fuss. She doesnt yet walk on a lead but with the support of a kind person who has plenty of patience and a lovely resident dog to lead the way we dont think it will take her very long to learn about this and all about other home skills. She has never lived inside before so will need to learn all about house training and get used to the sights and sounds of home. With a little encouragement and lots of love she will soon get the hang of everything and will love being someones special girl. Isabell could go to a home with another kind dog or with the right people that are able to give her the attenion she deserves she could be an only dog. Isabell needs a cat free home please

28-09-24 UPDATE

Isabell is the sweetest angel around. She is so happy to be greeted by humans, and will be the first in her kennel to approach you and will sit there for ages having a fuss.
Isabell is currently kennelled with 4 other dogs and gets on very well with them, but I believe in the right circumstances she could be homed as an only dog
Isabell is truly a special girl that has come to adore bonding with us and we’re sure that she’ll absolutely thrive and take on homelife if her stride.

22-10-24 UPDATE
She has a Grade 2 heart murmur which will need to be monitored by her new vet.

24-10-2024 UPDATE
Isabell says happy Halloween everyone!!!! I honestly can’t believe this amazing girl is still here. Every staff member that knows her absolutely adores her and it’s not difficult to see why. She is super loving and affectionate, but also gentle and placid. She greets everyone she meets with a huge waggy tail and loves nothing more than a good cuddle and kiss!! She has learnt to walk on a lead since being here and her confidence is also improving more and more all the time. I can only imagine how amazing she’s going to be in a home .. I just wish other people could too! Isabell can be homed as an only dog or with others, and she could be homed with older children too. I know she has some medical issues, but at 7 years old surely she deserves to find her happy ever after now? There must be someone out there who could open their heart and their home to her … she deserves it SO much!!! If Isabell is homed as an only dog, she must be allowed on the sofa for snuggles and in the bedroom to sleep at night if that’s what she wants. We think it’s only fair she’s treated like a Queen after 7 years of not having a family.

09-11-24 UPDATE
Lovely Isabell has had a course of antibiotics for an infection. Her ears have needed lots of cleaning as they were getting sore and she is now on her way to a foster home so that her cataract can be assessed.

16-12-24 UPDATE

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
