24-07-24 Kans is a sweet girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She was rehomed briefly but sadly did not get on with the small female dogs in the house so she is looking for a home where she can live with a friendly resident dog of a larger size who is prepared to play with her. Someone with a knowldge of the breed would be perfect but not essential. She is on the large side for her breed and has an undershot jaw that she manages well with. Kans will happily greet you in her kennel but does run away when she is approached as she isnt too sure what we want from her at the moment. We dont think it will take lomg for her to settle into a new home and start enjoying all the nice things and kind attention that home brings. She could be an only dog in the right home with someone with a knowledge of the breed would be perfect but not essential. Kans is easy to handle and has a lot of love to give. We think she is a sweetheart.

16-08-24 UPDATE

Kans has settled well into her foster home, house training is almost there, she sleeps in the kitchen with dogs for company.
Kans is not bothered by household sounds. She is not ready to walk on a lead yet and can be fussy about food. Kans loved having strokes and will nose her way in. She's adorable and is also now showing an interest in toys.

26-09-24 UPDATE

Kans is now very settled into life in a home and knows the routines. She absolutely loves her walks and enjoys playing with my Shihtzu. If I meet people and dogs on a walk she will quietly sit whilst we chat. She will now eat from a bowl and will take treats gently. Kans adores people, enjoys a fuss, pushing her way into the pack in a gentle manner. She sleeps in the kitchen at night with the others and is happy to be left for 4 hours. She is a gentle, loving girl but she can be bossy with other dogs so needs a bigger dog in her new home.

04-12-24 UPDATE
Kans is a sweet little girl, confident, friendly but prefers the company of male dogs her size or larger. She is a delight to walk on a lead and walks very well and seems to really enjoy going out. Kans loves a fuss and will come over to you and sit next to you asking for a cuddle. She is no trouble at all, she's easy to handle and eats her food well, she's currently kenneled with a frenchie called Casper and she gets along with him very well. I think in the right home with the right people she will continue to thrive. She is such a kind and gentle girl who knows some commands such as "here" and "sit" and in time I'm sure she will learn more. Please consider adopting this little angel, she'd love to go on walks with you and cuddle up to you in the evenings, she's not asking for much. It's almost Christmas, the best gift you could give to her would be for her to find her forever home with a loving family

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
