VINNY WILL NEED TO BE REHOMED WITH HIS BEST FRIEND ALASKA

15-07-24 Vinny is a very sweet natured boy who has come in from a home through no fault of his own with his best friend Alaska. Alaska and Vinny will need to be rehomed together as they are a bonded pair and are quite unsettled without the other. Vinny is desperate to get back into a home with Alaska as they are both quite overwhelmed with all the noises and business in kennels. He is such a sweetheart who is easy to handle and is happy to be picked up for a cuddle. However he is so worried and overwhelmed with no clue what's going on, he spends most of his time hudded behind Alaska just watching and trying to get comfort from her. He  already knows how to walk on a lead and enjoys going out to quiet places. He is housetrained and used to home life but may need help settling back into this and adjusting to a new environment after going through such change. Vinny is good with other dogs and they can be homed together with other resident dogs or go solely together. They are looking for a calm home where they can have lots of love and attention. Vinny has arrived with sore skin which our vets have examined and he is having regular medicated baths at present. Vinny is such a gentle boy whose whole world has turned upside down and he cannot wait to be a cherished member fo the family. They will need a home with no cats.

These two are an inseperable pair. They dote on each other. Vinny is a wonderful boy and can seem intimidating at first, but he simply needs to get to know you well and after that, he is jumping up for attention. Alaska is just a pure sweetheart and always comes to us, gently climbing up to your lap. They both have skin problems at the moment which is being treated, but will need loving attention given to this if you adopt. It should eventually clear up. They want a home together and would be heartbroken to be separated. They will definitely come out of their shells when they are back in a home of their own. They need the comfort of a nice household and adopters who can treat them with respect and give them the time they need to blossom. They are a beautiful pair and we're hoping we find a special home for them. If you know the breed, even better. They are waiting for their gotcha day and I hope it's very, very soon.

Many of you will have seen Vinny and Alaska on social media. This adorable duo had a bath today and I thought I’d share a little clip. At the moment they’re having medicated baths to help with their skin, and it’s working wonders!
They were as good as gold, totally unfazed. They’ve had a fair few now since being with us, and love being fussed with a towel at the end to help dry them off.
Alaska loved the pamper and warmth of the hair dryer (she does feel the cold) and Vinny just loves a fuss however it comes.
This easy little pair are quite the characters and always keep me entertained. They are just such a happy little duo.
