If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

29-06-24 Holly has come to us from a breeder, ready to find her forever home. She is a sweet but quiet girl, who is a little worried to find herself here at the moment. She will slowly approach you for a gentle fuss and so we think with time, love and kindness she will soon start to come out of her shell. Holly will be looking for a home where there is another kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and companion. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life a new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. She is a lovely girl and is truly going to thrive in a home.

04-07-24 UPDATE
Holly has seen the vet and she has very narrowed ear canals and is currently being treated, but our vet feels that she is likely prone to ear infections and these may be recurring and would not be covered by insurance. She has had a small lump removed from her armpit and has a cyst removed also. Holly has had the lump sent off for testing which has come back as a low grade (Grade 1) mammary carcinoma which appears to have been completely excised. Our rehoming team are happy to share the lab reports and fully discuss this with any adopters. Holly will need a home where she can be regularly monitored by the vets for any reoccurence, we are hopeful this wonderful girl can finally find a loving home where she will be cherished!

31-07-24 UPDATE

Holly is the sweetest of girls, she loves a fuss, loves playtime with her playmates & will do anything for a treat! Holly is settling at the rescue well, and is learning how to trust her caregivers & it’s truly amazing to see. You’ll always be greeted with a waggy tail, and will be leant into for a fuss. Hollys favourite past time here is watching the world go by in her favourite sploot position! Holly hasn’t yet mastered lead walking, as she has been far too focused on mastering her confidence which we’re proud to say she is smashing. In the coming days, we’ll introduce her to new things to keep pushing the boundaries but at Holly’s pace. She will make the most wonderful pet, all she needs is another resident dog to guide her at home & a family who will shower her with love.

04-09-24 UPDATE

Holly is recovering well from her surgery and is still a content girl with a waggy tail. She is quite partial to a bum scratch and a fuss in her kennel, which I feel is her safe place at the moment as she is more likely to approach you in there rather than the yard.
She is currently wearing a cone to ensure that her ears are kept safe and to avoid any damage whilst they heal. We popped this off in order to take pictures as it was quite difficult to see her beautiful face, I then noticed that we couldn’t see her eyes either so trimmed and tidied up her face which she allowed me to do with no problem. Her hair around her eyes will eventually grow back with some time but needed to be shaved during her operation.
We began harness training this week and this is going well, but don’t want to push little Holly as we must ensure she heals up well before taking any big steps!
We have also noticed after some time that Holly would be best suited as an only dog as she isn’t too fond on sharing her space, she socialises well with dogs, but she prefers to be in her kennel by herself.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
