If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

27-06-24 Amon is a sweet little chap who has come from his breeder to find a loving home. He is a nervous boy who isnt used to being around people yet and needs to learn to relax and trust us. He has a lovely kind character and will really thrive in a calm home where there is a resident dog to help him learn all about home life and home skills. He is such an innocent little soul and we are so worried that he will be overlooked as he isnt a pretty, fluffy little puppy. Please look into his big brown eyes and see what we see, a lovely pup just waiting for his fresh start and a chance to be happy and loved. He will need plenty of socialisation, exercise and heaps of love and kindness to help him settle and grow into a well rounded adult dog. He will need to learn home skills such as house training, how to walk on a lead and how to give all his trust to his new family. He is such a sweetheart.

17-07-24 UPDATE

It was my first time meeting Amon today and you can see he is a nervous boy straight away. He didn't run away, he stayed around with with his kennel mate who's a bit more confident, but he was a bit wary of me saying hello and giving him a fuss. After a few minutes he did allow me to make a fuss of him and even allowed me to pick him up and carry him to the yard. It's all progress no matter how slow some may take.
Amon is a very beautiful boy, he seems very sweet and I think will be a very loving and playful boy once he's settled in and is confident enough to show his true personality. He isn't currently walking on a lead so he will need to begin with some harness training, he will also need basic house training skills like where to go to the toilet etc. As stated previously he isn't that confident yet so will need a resident dog to help him to gain confidence, and to show him the ropes around the house, they'll also be a great comfort should be feel he needs it from another dog.
All Amon wants is a forever home, so if you feel like you could help this little chap grow in confidence and give him the love he deserves, then come to the rescue and meet him, you could be leaving with a new best friend.

04-08-24 UPDATE

A few days ago, Amon’s kennel dad decided to bring Amon home to foster and slowly introduce him to home life comforts and noises and he’s doing so well.
Amon is such a delight to have around, he is a busy little bee who is always looking for something to do but will have his rest time once he’s content with his needs being met. Amon is only 8 months old, so still quite young and sadly did miss out on the first few months of socialising with humans.
Amon is a little weary about humans but he’s finding his feet day by day. Amon will allow you to give him a gentle fuss and will now come up to you with a waggy tail. He’s curious about the world and his new adopters will need to take it slowly with him, so to not overwhelm him. He will come to you when called in a secure area and he will be learning to walk harness soon.
Amon's forever home will need another kind resident dog who is his size or larger (he is only the weight of a large Bichon but longer in the body!) Amon does have a best friend who he met at the rescue named Hari who’s a 3 year old small Poodle and they hit it off from day 1! We would consider homing them together in the right home and then he wouldn’t need a resident dog as Hari is confident enough! But they can be homed separately also.
Amon can be homed with dog savvy children who leave him and allow him to settle and get used to new areas and surroundings.

26-08-24 UPDATE

How Amon is still with us with very little interest shocks me!
Amon is a stunning little boy, with a great personality showing through. Amon is really starting to trust us even more now and will enjoy lap cuddles and plays with you and gets zoomies.
Amon loves his toys and will happily spent time chewing away and entertaining himself. Amon can still get timid moments with loud noises etc, so whilst he is settling in his new home his adopters must bare this In mind as it’s a big change but he adapts quickly.
Amon loves food puzzles and is a very clever and inquisitive boy. Please don’t let him get over looked much more!

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
