23-05-24 Yogurt is a sweet standard sized girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She is a shy girl who hasnt seen much of the world before so is feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. She has arrived with a small lump in her mammary area that our vet will take a look at and some hairloss on her nose. Yogurt loves her kennel friends and takes confidence from them so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home that can show her all about home life whilst being a friend to her. She will need to learn all about house training and other such home skills and how to walk on a lead and harness. These things will take time and she will need your kindness and patience to help her move forwards and get things right. She is very easy to handle and is lloking for a home that is experienced or knowledgable with the dachshund breed and their unique traits. She has a PETS passport travel doc.

29-05-24 UPDATE
Yogurt has had multiple minor lumps removed from her mammary area at the time of her spay

24-07-24 UPDATE

Yogurt arrived with us a few weeks ago very nervous.
She has come a long way since then . She adores her play mates but is quite happy to play with me without them in the garden .
She loves to greet you with a bark but only when you get home . She is trying her hardest to get my gang to play with her but mine are just happy to watch .
She would love a new play mate in her new home, she has a little bit of a naughty side of hunting down spare socks, and will play with a puppy pad . She is clean durning the day but can take a wee at night on a pad .
She is worried of men being too close but once she knows you wont harm her she is happy to say hello.
She is very lovable.  No young children or visiting children as she is very unsure of them .
Yogurt is just waiting for her forever home.

Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
