Location: At Many Tears in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire
If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.
09-10-2024 Pandora came to us from a breeder in 2023 and was adopted, and has sadly been returned to us through no fault of her own, due to her owner's health. She's extremely affectionate and listens well to commands, as well as walking perfectly on the lead and responding to recall in the big yard. She is however strictly an only dog as she much prefers humans, so she cannot go to a home where there are other dogs or cats. As a husky she needs plenty of attention and exercise to get her through the day and prevent her from getting frustrated and overweight. So if you are looking for an exercise buddy and are happy to be present for her, and be her best friend, please adopt this poor girl who has unfortunately found her way back to a kennel.
10-10-2024 UPDATE
Pandora is a gorgous Husky who has sadly been returned to us through no fault of her own and is wondering what she’s done to end up back in kennels. Due to her owners ill health, she is back and looking for another sofa to stretch out on and call her own. She's extremely affectionate and listens well to commands, as well as walking perfectly on the lead and responding to recall in the big yard. It’s obvious that in the time spent away from the rescue she has fallen on all four paws, and picked up home life well. Pandora is looking for a home with that’s filled with people only - no other dogs, cats, or small furries (this is because she simply doesn’t like them!). Like any Husky, Pandora will need a home that can give her plenty of attention and keep her active. So if you are looking for an exercise buddy and are happy to be her best friend, please adopt this poor girl as I’m sure the longer she’s here, the more she’ll wonder why

Pandora is just the best girl ever, she is just a wonderful super companion and gets on with everyone she meets (of the two legged variety). Pandora often joins me whilst I sit and have my lunch, and as you can see from the photos she is just content to snooze by my feet whilst I have a break. Pandora is looking for a home where she will have all the attention as the only dog, she does not get on so well with dogs and a home where there will be no cats or small furries, as she would like to chase. Pandora walks very well on lead and will walk happily by your side, for hours. Pandora would love to go on adventures with her new family, equally she will enjoy curling up next to you for a long afternoon snooze. Being a husky we feel a home that can offer her plenty of outside space and lots of opportunity for exercise would be in her best interest. Pandora regularly goes out with volunteers here at the rescue and is always a big hit, Pandora has had visits from children as young as 8 and has always been very well mannered around them, for this reason we would be happy to home her with a family that has children from 8 years and above. If you’re a single person a couple or a family looking for a super companion, you would be very lucky to have this girl in your world. It would be so wonderful to see this great dog in a home of her own.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
