22-09-24 Rosie is a very sweet girl who orginally came to us from a breeder when she was 2 years old, she found a wonderful home where she has been very loved but sadly her owner has passed away and so she is back with us, looking for her perfect retirement home. She is a wonderful girl who has gone straight into foster with a member of staff where she is settling in very well. She would love to find a home with someone who is home most of the time and has lots of time to spend with her. She loves to snuggle into you on the sofa and really would love to spend her retirement years being someones cherished companion. She could be homed as an only dog as long as her adopter was around most of the time but she gets along well with other dogs so could be homed with other dogs too, she is also okay with cats. She has met cats and has been fine with them. Rosie is a little overweight at the moment but with a good diet and some gentle exercise should lose this easily. She also has dry eye which she is currently being treated for but will be ongoing for life and is being treated for inflamed ears. She skin is a little flaky at the moment too but this might be down to diet and we are hopeful this will start to clear up. Rosie is a wonderful girl who so deserves to find her most wonderful forever home, so please don't leave her waiting too long. Rosie is housed trained and loves going on walks using her nose to sniff out all the good stuff!

28-09-24 UPDATE
Rosie has seen our vets about her eyes as they were causing her a lot of discomfort and were very enlarged. Unfortunately due to this our vets felt that they had no choice but to remove both eyes. She is recovering well and we will update on her progress as she continues to recover.

09-10-2024 UPDATE

Hi I’m rosie, and this is my story…. 9 years ago I was used as a breeding dog and had lots of pups till I was rescued by a lady called Syliva . I was 2 years old when I came here. I was very lucky I had people here at many tears caring for me and getting me ready for my new life. Life was good till my owner passed and I now found myself back at many tears after a long time . I’ve been lucky that a member of staff have took me under her wing and allowed me to stay with her and family as I wouldn’t cope in kennels . I’ve make new friends as she has 10 pugs and I found I’m ok with cats too . I’m looking forward to getting a new home of my own again. I would like another dog that’s similar to me as I do like cuddling up next to my new friends and I like following the sounds of paws walking in front. I had painful eyes and I couldn’t see when I came back but the vets made the pain go away . Now I may not have eyes no more but that is not stopping me at all! I love going out using my nose and exploring. I do walk on the harness, I am house trained , I bark to go out and also bark for food time . I’ve been told I need to lose some weight as I came in overweight. I’ve done amazing well so far on my new diet and my new owners need to carry it on. So that’s my story… if you think I can fit into to your family please apply looking forward to my next chapter.
