We rescued Friday's mum Jessie with a few other pregnant donkeys.

Jessie and Friday were extremely lucky, because Fridays birth was complicated and Jessie needed to spend a night at the vets. With their expert care, Jessie made a full recovery and Sylvia called her little boy Lucky Friday!

Friday is the leader to his little brother Truffle, who follows him everywhere.

Friday is 1 year old and he loves attention, and especially loves a scratch on the chest.

Friday absolutely loves to jump! He will actively jump on his own if there's a jump set up in the round pen or sand school, he has tonnes of scope and has one time jumped out of his field!

He also walks over the bridge at Rainbows End and we've taught him to jump the crocodile! He walks in-hand really well, often being the leader for Truffle, however he's still young and sometimes can get a bit excited!

Friday also likes to try and lead himself or Truffle and will bite the lead rope and hold it in his mouth while he walks, he's done that since he was 1 week old!

Friday sees the farrier regularly to make sure his hooves are in good shape. He needs shavings in his stable and plenty of hay and donkey good as well as lots of delicious treats and fresh veg like carrots. Friday needs lots of time and attention
