01-05-21 Betty Boo is a scared girl who has come all the way from Romania to start her new life. Betty Boo is quite nervous and worried at the moment and is very dependant on her kennel friends and will look to them for reassurance. Betty Boo will definitely need another kind resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her settle in to her new life. They will also help her learn all about home life, house training and how to walk on a lead. She will need a quiet, adult only home, with adopters who will be kind and patient as she settles in. She is easy to handle and will give you little gentle kisses once she gets to know you. With time and love, Betty Boo will start to flourish and come out of her shell. Betty Boo has a passport.

06-05-21 UPDATE

Betty was awfully frightened when she came to us and would show her teeth every time I came close to her just out of fear and fear only of what I was going to do to her. She is now such a happy, bouncy little character who gives me lots of kisses and lovely little snuggles!
She loves relaxing in the sun when it’s out and playing with her kennel friend. She would need another dog as there’s still progress to be made but has come on massively in a short space of time already. Her friend would need to be very kind to her and hopefully enjoy a little ruff and tumble like she does!
She will need owners who will be patient with her and help her gain even more confidence in the big scary world she hasn’t yet seen as she can still be quite unsure of new things/noises and surroundings.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
