30-03-2021 This is Baba - she has had a very hard and sad life. She has arrived with severe glaucoma in her left eye which sadly did not respond to treatment and so this eye has now been removed and she will now be feeling much more comfortable.
Found in fields in Romania we believe she was abandoned as she is friendly with people as well as dogs.  She was taken to a rescue and we agreed we would bring her to Many Tears to find a wonderful new home and life.  We don't believe Baba has ever lived in a home so she may need house training. Baba can be quite timid but she is very friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you. Baba has a passport.

The photo above is of Baba when she was in Romania.

21-04-21 UPDATE

Now Baba has had her eye removed and it has healed, she is a very happy girl. She wouldn't eat post op and was sad, but now she's fine and has even started to play with her kennel mate. Baba would love to be an only dog as she loves human attention and is confident on her own. She is slightly overweight and could do with losing a few pounds. She enjoys going on short walks and walks very well on the lead, so this should help her weight loss. Baba would suit a less active home.

05-05-21 UPDATE

Baba is such a adorable, laidback dog and would love a home where she could have all the attention as only dog but could be homed with another calm dog. She walks lovely on a lead and loves going out, although doesn’t like going to the play area and left so quite often put her brakes on as she gets close. She chills out in her bed watching all the other dogs go past but will be straight out of bed and to the front of the kennel if she see the lead. She is kennel clean so I don’t think it would take any time for her to be house trained.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
