If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

11-02-21 Tango has come to us with her friend Buster, through no fault of their own as their owner was unable to look after them anymore. We would like to find a home for them together but if the circumstances were perfect we may consider homing them separately as only dogs. Tango is a lovely girl, who is very friendly and easy to handle. She is super confident and loves to have a fuss and a cuddle. She walks well on a lead and we believe she is house trained, although this might need some reminding in her new home. Tango can be food possessive with other dogs, so her new owners will need to be willing to work with her on this. Tango would be best suited to an adult only home, with someone who has lots of time to devote to her and will make her feel loved and cherished again. Please don't leave Tango and Buster waiting too long, they would love nothing more than being back in a nice cosy home.
Tango has a passport

20-02-21 UPDATE
I’ve had the pleasure of working with the lovelies that are Buster and Tango this week! They are both very comical, loving and sweet dogs who take everything in their stride and enjoy the comforts of a big snuggly duvet. I’d imagine they’re both couch potatoes in a home environment (haha)!
After working with them closely, I’ve discovered that they both love each other very much and you’ll always find them snuggling in the bed together, BUT it seems that Buster gets jealous quite often and wants to have all the attention. This behaviour may be heightened due to being in a kennel environment, but he becomes jealous of Tango a good few times a day. He listens straight away when I tell him off, but it does make me feel quite sorry for Tango. I think a home environment with more than one person would suit them a lot better than a single household. I’ve come to this conclusion because they could then have a person each and I’m hoping there won’t be as much jealousy this way.
I do also think they could be homed separately, as long as they would be only dogs and their humans were around most of the time. Even though they enjoy snuggling with each other, they’re both extremely human focussed so enjoy a human snuggle just as much.
They’re both lovely dogs who deserve to be tucked up in a warm home with their humans. Could you make this happen for them?

24-02-21 UPDATE

Beautiful British bulldog anyone? This girl is lovely, sweet, gentle and a little bit clumsy! She walks perfectly on a lead and doesn’t stop or plod along like a lot of bulldogs do she actually walked at quite a fast pace I was pleasantly surprised after meeting her for the first time today! Her skin and fur looks in great condition apart from a small scab on her head which she came into the rescue with already. She seems very placid, calm and laid back. She is kennelled with her bulldog friend Buster who she came in with and has probably always lived with. She is definitely the quieter one out of the two! We would love it if they could be rehomed together for company or we would consider rehoming them separately as only dogs.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
