05-01-20 Ticket is a stunning girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a larger sized Pomeranian, but is a beautiful girl! She is quite nervous at the moment and has never lived in a home before, so home life will be a complete mystery to her. She will need a kind resident dog or dogs in her new home to show her the ropes and help her learn skills like house training and lead walking. With lots of love and TLC, she will soon start to realise how enjoyable life as a treasured pet can be and will start to come out of her shell and let her personality shine.

28-01-20 UPDATE

Ticket recently moved to my section and was quite scared of me, she didn't want me to touch her and quivered in fear. However the exercise area is separate to the kennels and dogs have to be able to walk on a lead or be carried. As Ticket was always cringing in fear of me I decided to teach her to walk on a harness. She has done really well and day by day has improved little by little. She now walks on a harness although nervously and is getting used to me putting on the harness and taking it off and now hardly shakes at all.
She loves to have a real good run around in the sandschool and will wait for me to catch her when its time to go back to kennels. She gets on really well with her female beagle kennel mate and male cavachon.

11-02-20 UPDATE

Just a quick update on how Ticket is getting on. Tickets kennel mates have changed and she gets on great with them, they are the same size as her and we'd home her with the same size dog or bigger. Ticket is quite a large Pom although a lot of this is fur. Tickets walking skills have improved a lot and now we are walking her on a lead only and with a bit more practice I'll be taking her for her first walk up the road. She is easy to look after and clean in her kennel overnight. I don't understand why she is still here but I am sure that her forever home is only round the corner as she is a really lovely girl.

19-02-20 UPDATE

Our beautiful Ticket is still here as you can see. She is a lovely girl and enjoyed a fuss I gave her this morning when meeting her. She sat in her bed next to her friend and let me smoothe her with no issues. She was a bit sceptical when we first started walking this morning but soon came around and enjoyed her walk. She was happy to get back to her kennel friend and cuddle up in the warm. She will need to be rehomed with same size dogs or bigger and while she is a big dog for a pomeranian, most of this is fur. Please dont overlook her and I know that someone out there has her one way ticket home.

27-02-20 UPDATE

Hi my name is Ticket. I've been at Many Tears for nearly 2 months and today was a special day. I was taken out for a walk today but I was a little tired and didnt want to go but I did, like the good girl I am. I went out for a long walk today with my uncle Nathan and we found what he called "a river". I've never seen one of these before and it was beautiful. I was a little nervous because I didnt know if it would hurt me but thanks to encouragement from uncle Nathan I was a brave girl and even put all of my toesies in the water. Nathan and I are so proud of myself for taking this big step and I was really excited to get back to my kennel to tell my friend all about my morning. I was even lucky enough to get some treats for being a very brave girl. I only wish I had a home where I could do this all the time and experience what other wonders this world holds. Please give me my one way ticket to a perfect home, I need a family.

27-03-20 UPDATE

Ticket is a fantastic Pom with a lot of personality. She’s still a little shy around new people, but when she knows you she comes out of her shell and will approach for a fuss. Ticket walks on a lead but prefers to be walked on a harness alongside another dog at the moment - as she is still gaining her confidence in regards to the outside world. Ticket loves to snuggle with her kennel mates so she will definitely need a more confident, cuddly dog friend to be homed alongside. She is an inquisitive girl with a curious nature, it’s just taking her a while to gain the confidence to explore that nature. With time I’m sure she will gain all the confidence needed to flourish into the fabulous little character I know she wants to be. Please give ticket a chance to show you her true nature, and to also experience what true love really is. She deserves this chance.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog.
Large breed dogs over 25kg cost us considerably more  to spay and neuter so if you are adopting a large breed dog we would be very grateful of an extra suggested donation of £10 towards this increased cost to help us keep running.
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
