If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

6-9-19 Laugh is a handsome poodle who has come to us from a breeder.  We can see glimpses of an amazing personality just waiting to emerge.  He loves his kennel friend very much and will need a home with at least one other dog to be his friend.   He is quite good with people but is more confident when around other dogs.   His new canine friend(s) must be kind and gentle and Laugh will watch and then start to copy what they do.  This will help him learn about house training and lead walking.  In a home with people who have plenty of time, love and patience he will flourish.  A super little boy looking for a super home. Poor Laugh has a broken jaw but eats well and we think he has partial in his left eye as thsi is cloudy .  Due to his age we would like him in a home as soon as is possible.

17-09-19 UPDATE
Hello everyone its me Laugh. Today ive been told I'm one of the favourites because i'm so happy friendly and love a cuddle.  I may be small but I have a huge personality that has come out! I dont currently walk on a harness but my kennel mum is helping me slowly but surely with it. I get on very well with my kennel friends we sniff play and sleep together but the only thing I dont like sharing is my food so I have to be fed separately. I would like to have another doggy friend in my new home to play and cuddle up with, they will also give me some confidence and help with the big home life that ive heard is pretty awesome. I do have a bad jaw but please don't let this put you off, it doesnt stop me from doing anything like eating drinking and giving lots of kisses.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
