09-08-2019 - Chips is a little lad from Romania. He is a little nervous at the moment as he doesn't know us but all he needs is love, attention and a kind resident dog to live with to help him learn about house training. Chips will also need a secure garden so he feels safe with a lovely family to show him the world.  Chips new life of love, kindness and safety is just about to begin, we are so excited for him! He has a passport

19-09-19 UPDATE

Chips is the coolest little dude I know. He's such a character! Everyone I know loves to spend time with him. Chips is a happy go lucky guy who loves to have lots of kisses and cuddles. If you sit down anywhere Chips will come over and settle down on your lap. He's a calm boy but also has a lovely playful streak. He loves to play with his kennel friend Bobina. They run around together playing with a tennis ball as they go.
Chips also walks really well on a harness now. He loves having his harness put on as it means a new adventure is on the horizon. Today I took Chips up the road for a little stroll and he trotted alongside me really well. He was sniffing as many of the nice smells as possible and spent a lot of time rolling around in the long grass.
We also met a cat on our adventures. I wasn't sure how Chips would react given his playful and cheeky nature, but he reacted perfectly. He noted the cat, moved towards it a little, but then just moved away without so much as a growl or bark.
Chips is just an amazing little man who really deserves a loving home now. He has travelled all the way from Romania but is still waiting for his new home. I think it's about time luck was on his side and someone snapped him up, you won't regret it, I promise!

10-10-19 UPDATE

From Romania to Wales! What a journey this little man has had! He came in with his friend Bobina but has since made a whole lot of new friends, he currently shares his kennel with a bunch of bichon's which I must say he gets on very well with.
At the age of 2 Chips is finally learning what it's like to be looked after and loved.. a completely different life from wondering the streets of Romania not knowing where his next meal is coming from.
Chips has become a firm favourite with some of the staff here so much so that he has his own little fan club and why wouldn't he, just look at that handsome face!!
Chips is a great little man anyone will be lucky to have him in their home, he gets on with other dogs, walks on a lead and gives the best cuddles!! If you're looking for a beautiful boy to join your family then look no further than our boy chips he has an amazing nature and an even greater soul.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
