25-07-2019 Belle is an ex breeding nervous Cocker Spaniel who stays in bed out of the way of us.  She is very nervous and will cower when she is approached but is fine once in your arms and will settle. Belle doesn't walk on a lead and will need another dog or dogs in her new home to help her with things like house training.  She has never been inside a home and this will be overwhelming for her at first so she will need to have a home with someone who has had experience of scared dogs.

27-08-19 UPDATE

Belle is a lovely natured little girl who will come up and say hello once she gets to know you. She's quite a quiet girl on a day to day basis. Her confidence is improving slowly, she doesnt hide in the back of her kennel as much now. She's got on well with the dogs she's been in a kennel with so she'll get on with most resident dogs in her future home. This is a dog with a who will flourish in the right home so make sure you grab the chance to home this beautiful girl before someone else does!

26-09-19 UPDATE

Belle is a sweet girl, nervous but comes around quick now compared to when she first arrived with us,she still has a tendancy to go to her bed in the back of the kennel when you approach but curiosity gets the better of her and she now quietly comes up to you investigating.
She walks on harness but does prefer to be walked with another dog, it gives her much more confidence and she is fine, slow and doesn't pull but she's fine, happy sniffing the verges and checking what her kennel friend is doing.
She is nervous of cars, not terrible but tends to cower away on the verge when a car passes, she doesn't try to bolt away so she will get used to cars in no time.
She loves face massages when she relaxes around you, you can see her starting to doze off minutes into giving her a nice face massage. She is ok to pick up and not aggressive at all, just a little nervous of new people.
Could you find it in your heart to give this beautiful girl her much deserved forever home, she certainly needs it as she has been with us at MT a little while now.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
