05-04-2019 Whoosh is an ex-breeding BIchon Frise.  She is a very nervous girl but once in your arms she will let you handle her but she holds on to you very tightly because she is so firghtened.  Whoosh will need at least one other dog in the home to help her with house training and lead walking.  She will watch and copy what they do but these things will not happen overnight and her new owners will need plenty of time and patience to help this lovely girl settle into her new life and overcome her fears.

23-05-19 UPDATE

Today I spent some time with Whoosh she is a very sweet girl, although she is still nervous she did come up to me to have a sniff.
She has started harness training today and was such a good girl when we put it on her she just stood there for us, she doesn't walk on a lead yet this will come with time, patients and a routine also she will need a confident resident dog to learn from.
When Whoosh first came to us she would hold on very tightly to you if she was picked up but now she is quite relaxed in your arms so she is learning to trust. She gets on very well with her kennel buddies, loves being out in the play yard and although she won't take them from your hand just yet she really enjoys treats.
Whoosh is a six year old ex-breeding girl so hasn't had a great life so far, nobody to smooth her, show her love or make her happy! She is looking for a family that have the time to show her all that she has missed out on, to fill the rest of her life with love and to make sure she has the best days.

05-06-19 UPDATE

Whoosh is a very sweet girl. Although she is still nervous she does in time come up to me to have a sniff and lets me stroke her. I have not met her before so this is great progress for her. Once she knows you she relaxes and takes treats from you.
She is currently training to walk on a harness with another staff member who has spent more time with her. She will need another dog in her new forever home as well as a quiet family with no young children.
Whoosh will need time to develop and gain trust in humans again, so patience is needed and I’m sure they will be rewarded with love in return once she trusts you. She does bark when you people approach on a show round but that is just a little fear as she doesn’t understand why people are staring at her.
