If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-01-2019 Yesterday I drove up into the mountains through the snow.  I went to a farm where they had two litters of collie pups unsold and around 18 weeks old. The farmer had tried their best to sell them on but with nobody wanting them they were offered to us and if we didn't want them either then they would be shot.
These beautiful pups have lived in a shed are are not used to seeing anyone but an old farmer who fed them. So they whilst nobody has ever been unkind to them, they haven't seen much of the world yet. They are in need of great foster or forever homes happy to help cram their heads with all the things collies should know. They need to learn to be loved and learn to love back.
Refresher is absolutely beautiful but isn't used to human contact.  She will need time, love and paitence to gain her confidence and will need to go to puppy training classes and be spayed at six months

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
