22-01-19 Hayley is a 6 year old female ex-breeding Bichon. Hayley is a nervous girl but she loves her kennel friends and they help her feel comfortable.  Because of this she will need to be homed with another dog or dogs that can show her how to relax and live in a loving family home. She will watch and start to copy what they do which will help her with house training, how to walk on a lead and other home manners. If given penty of time and patience this teeny girl will shine.

12-03-19 UPDATE

Hayley is a very sweet little Bichon. She is a small dog with a big character. Hayley will bark at people when they walk up to her, and still backs away - however, she is much more confident than when she first came in. She had never attempted to hurt anyone, and I don’t believe she ever would, she is still just a little wary of new people. She has the cutest little face, and looks extra cute when her hair is left to grow out slightly.
You can see that she wants to be loved when you look into her eyes, and when you pick her up, she will let you cuddle her for hours. She also loves a cuddle with her kennel mates, and is quite happy to spend the majority of the day in bed next to them. She is a good girl though and runs out to the yard for some exercise when I tell her to. Can you give Hayley the loving home she wants and deserves? She’s waiting for the right family to give her lots of loves, cuddles and treats!

26-04-19 UPDATE

Hayley is a shy yet sweet hearted girl who has a lovely temperament with people and other dogs. She does growl and bark when you walk past her kennel, but is slowly coming out of this. She is becoming more confident around strangers, but this will still take time. Hayley does walk on the lead, butis in the process of being trained on the harness and runs in and out during playtime.
She can be handled and is calm in your arms, although a little tricky to catch. As she is a shy girl we would like her to go to a home with another dog, or dogs, to ensure that she is able to come out of her shell and learn the ropes of house life completely. When we took her for a walk we found that she was uninterested in the cats and also is unbothered when people were walking past or when held by a man.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
