17-1-19 - My name is Lexi, I am GORGEOUS and I know it. Come, tell me how pretty I am! I know all about treats and getting my own way. Just call me Princess Lexi, or your Highness as that's what I expect.  I was spoilt rotten and had my own way all the time - until I became such a brat that my people no longer wanted me. I am braver than the Lion King (unless you tell me off) I show teeth and gnarl and bark.  But then Sylvia says no, and then butter wouldnt melt in my mouth. I bark and growl at other dogs then Sylvia puts me with them and Im a sweetheart. I simply need proper training and firm, fair guidance. ( Sylvia says im spoilt and in the right hands will be a normal little dog ) I dont want to be spoilt, I actually prefer these things called boundaries. Will you help me become a much better doggy citizen please??

27-01-19 UPDATE
We have had Lexi for a week now and she is a little fire cracker! If you are looking for a cute little dog to carry round under you arm and cuddle on your lap she is NOT the right dog for you. She can be aggressive to people and other dogs when out on a walk. She can not be homed with children or visiting children. However I do believe with the right amount of exercise and if she is given boundaries she would be a great little dog.
Lexi is intelligent and eager to learn new things, she loves a ball and would be really happy for you to throw it in the garden for her. she is a stunning chihuahua. When she has had a busy day she is happy to jump on your knee and settles down for the evening. Please don't dismiss her she is well worth the effort it will take to socialise her.

10-02-19 UPDATE
We have had Lexi for three weeks now and she is much better. We are now able to walk her round the park without her lunging at anyone and she has let a few people pet her without reacting. She is a fantastic dog in the house and she gets on well with our dogs, however, she fearlessly protects the home when visitors come so we need to work on getting her to calm down more. Lexi is going to be a very faithful little dog and her world will revolve around her owners. Please give her a chance but she is not for the fainthearted!

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
