08-12-2018 Pleasant is a very nervous cocker spaniel who has come to us from a breeder.  She is quite brave and happy to be approached and  she will need time to learn about house training and lead walking etc.  Pleasant is not only very pretty but we think she is bright and will learn quickly and needs to be homed with another larger dog  to watch and copy she will adjust more quickly. Pleasant really bonds with her person quickly and will need an experienced home to help her through her issues.

28-12-18 UPDATE
Pleasant is a very timid girl who isn't keen on humans being near her, but once they are she will allow you to stroke her. All she needs is some love and patience to come out of her shell.
Can you be the comfort that she needs?...

11-01-19UPDATE
Pleasant really wasn't sure what to make of home life when she arrived a week ago, and found things quite stressful. She is still a little wary of people approaching her but will happily follow me around, she runs in and out of the house, is confident with the family dogs - from great dane size down to pom.
At the start of her first walk on a long line she was unsure what to do - to sniff or to run! But her spaniel instincts got the better of her and she started sniffing around. All was fine until a man and his dog appeared - panic! With some gentle reassurance she coped with his presence and that of the next two walkers. By the fourth so was a pro! She went to meet the dog and totally ignored its owner. Today was day four, she jumped out of the car, heading up the lane ready to meet any new dogs and ignore their owners. This lovely girl is growing in confidence daily.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
