01-12-18 Lilly is an older girl looking for a loving home. She is a lovely girl who walks on a lead quite well and will sit on command.  She could possibly be an only dog in the right home where she gets all the love and attention she certainly deserves and more but you would need to remember she will need extra patience with housetraining and settling into home life. Lilly has the start of cataracts in her eyes as she's older lady but manages well. She deserves to be in a soft cosy bed

12-12-18 UPDATE

Lilly is an extremely beautiful girl both inside and out! She is a super calm, relaxed, gentle lady, who spends her days sitting down and watching her kennel friends and the goings on of the centre. When she sees you coming, she will wag her little tail and will sometimes stand up and trot around, hoping you will go into her kennel to see her and share some cuddles! She is a real SWEETHEART - such a lovely lady!

Lilly gets on perfectly well with ALL dogs she meets and is kennelled with, no matter their size/sex/age/temperament. She is just a cool, wise lady!
She walks quite well on a harness and lead, but hasn't been out for a walk for a little while as she had her routine spay last week, and on top of that had mammary strips removed both sides, so she is still recovering. She is doing really well though, and is up and walking about and showing us signs that she wants to get on with things, bless her! Lily also has cataracts in both eyes, but none of this stops Lilly from being a happy, waggy, lovely, jolly lady! She will take treats from our hands, and just generally loves the company of people she knows well! She is delightful.
Lilly is apparently 9 years old, so is by donation because of this and because of her cataracts. I do hope someone falls in love with her soon - she really does deserve to be in a warm, comfy, loving, happy home before Christmas. Let's make this girls dreams come true! She has been through so much hardship in her 9 years of life, yet remains happy - how I don't know...It's about time she actually experiences things that would make her even more happier.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

ADOPTION DETAILS - LILLY IS BY DONATION

Although LILLY is by donation rather than the full adoption fee, we ask for a minimum donation of £100 to help cover the costs that have been incurred. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
