If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

19-10-18 Hilina is a very scared little exbreeding Yorkie. She is a nervous girl however she will let you go and pick her up with no fuss so we feel in the right home she will come round to her new owners quite quickly with lots of TLC.  She will need another dog in her forever home who can guide her and teach her how to live in a house, show her about housetraining and where the best places are to sleep. The world can be big and scary when you are just a little Yorkie so kind words, gentle hands and lots of love are just what she needs.

19-11-18 UPDATE

Hilina has only been here in foster for just a week but is loving life in a home where she has all the comforts on offer and dogs of a similar size to cuddle up with. She is still shy and sometimes hides behind furniture but I can see an improvement each day and she is now taking treats from me.
Lead walking is going very well though this has been confined to fields and parks so far. She is doing really well with house traing and uses puppy pads if necessary. Hilina has the sweetest little face and looks younger than 9 years. She would love to find a family of her own with a resident dog(s) so she can at last have a home to call her very own.

05-12-18 UPDATE
This once very frightened little girl is now enjoying life to the full. Although still shy, she is quite vocal when there is food around and boy does she love her food!!
She is walking brilliantly on the lead and now enjoys walks to the village which can be quite busy at times. Hilina is a busy girl and very active and her sweet little face makes her look much younger than her 9 years, which is not old for a Yorkie as they can live up to 16 years. She would best be suited in a quiet home where there is already a resident dog of a similar size as she loves to snuggle up with her foster friend Trina. Please consider this little girl if you are looking for small sized dog as she is longing for a family to call her own.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
