15-10-2018 Tally is a beautiful but extremely fearful shih tzu who has come to us from a breeder.  She will need a very calm and peaceful home with owners who have had scared dogs before.  There must be at least one other dog already living in the home who will allow her to share beds and cuddle up to with them for comfort and support.  She will slowly begin to copy what they dog which will help with house training and lead walking etc.  These things will not happen over time but if you have endless time, love a patience you will watch Tally transform from the scared little soul she is now into a brave little dog discovering all about love for the first time in her life.

20-10-18 UPDATE FROM A VOLUNTEER GROOMER
Hiding under the mess of hair and tangles was the prettiest Shihtzu. A dear little soul who was very good to groom. Her coat is so soft and the most beautiful white and gold colour. Excellent to be groomed.

02-12-18 UPDATE

Tally is such an easy going little dog.  She's still quite shy, but enjoys a cuddle, loves her food/treats/toys and accepts a bath and brush without making a fuss. She likes the company of other dogs and gets on well with them all.  Tally loves going for walks and trots along beside you looking up as if to say 'I'm doing OK aren't I?'  As I said she is quiet, but has moments where she does zoomies round the lawn (with a flowerpot in her mouth this morning) and literally takes off on all four paws with excitement.  Anyone who adopts this little girl will be so lucky.

13-12-18 UPDATE
Tally is such a sweet little honeybunny. She's so quiet you don't know you have her half the time - she loves to curl up and sleep with the other dogs and unfortunately, but endearingly, snores. She loves her food and spends as much time as she can exploring the garden. She still loves her walks and is a pleasure to take out as she doesn't pull on the lead.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
